Product Review: Renegade Shorts
Table of Contents [Show]
Before I became a KÜHL ambassador, I had a pair of KÜHL men's shorts. I had the Renegade shorts, and they were the only shorts I would wear on adventures. Despite being shorts, I wear them year round because of how well they perform. From climbing to skiing to hiking and then to work, they do everything in between.
What I love
Fabric
The Renegade line of clothes, be it the cargo shorts, the pants, or the shirt, are all made out of Tufflex, a blend of 88% nylon and 12% spandex. The synthetic fabric doesn't wrinkle, protects agains the sun, and dries out incredibly fast. They don't stay sweaty, and I often even use my shorts as a bathing suit.
Construction and Fit
The pockets are very well laid out in these men's shorts. The zippered cargo pockets double as a little bit of extra ventilation, and my climbing harness straps just miss the zippers, so I can keep things like a cell phone or small camera in my pocket. The fit of the shorts is incredible as well. There's no other pair of shorts I'd like to have on while playing outside, as they don't ride up, they don't fall down, and they aren't baggy or too tight in any spots.
What Could Have Been Better
My older Renegade shorts have had a problem getting pilly and the stitching coming undone in high-use areas, but after a similar amount of use and abuse, the newer shorts don't seem to have that problem. The only thing I really desire is more of them.
