Radikl® Series
Built around strategically placed knit stretch panels and trail-tough fabrics, the Radikl® collection is engineered for men who push hardest on the rock, the trail, and the worksite. Choose from a variety of fabrics, weights, and features for the men's Radikl pants and shorts that are right for you:
Knit Stretch Panel Engineering. The defining detail of the Radikl® Series. Strategically placed knit stretch panels open up the high-mobility zones (hips, thighs, knees) so you get unrestricted reach on a high step or a long stride. They breathe, too, dumping heat where the legs work hardest.
ENDURO™ Performance Fabric. The lighter Radikl pants and shorts are built around ENDURO™, a lightweight, fast-drying fabric tuned for abrasion resistance and UV protection. It moves with you, dries fast between trail and town, and shrugs off scrambling on rough rock.
Waxed Ripstop Durability. Other styles in the series step up to a waxed ripstop weave, delivering rugged wind- and water-resistance with the comfort and breathability of cotton. A hybrid build of articulation and stretch panels keeps the ripstop body from feeling stiff.
Heavyweight Canvas Option. For harder use and colder weather, a heavyweight canvas variant runs roughly fifty percent heavier than the standard fabric: more durability, more weather protection, same articulation through the knees and seat.
Hot-Weather Shorts. The Radikl shorts lean light: quick-dry fabric, UPF 50+, integrated knit stretch panels and an elasticized waist for moving fast in heat without dragging.
Look for the recurring Radikl signatures: articulated knees, a gusseted crotch, integrated knit stretch panels at the high-flex zones, and ripstop or canvas construction tuned to the job. For all-day stretch-softshell hiking pants on a different cut, see our Renegade collection.
The Radikl® Series is KÜHL's high-mobility men's pants and shorts collection, engineered around integrated stretch panels and trail-tough fabrics.
What is the Radikl® Series?
The series exists to solve one problem better than anything else in the lineup: keeping the legs unrestricted when the terrain, or the workday, demands real range of motion.
What pieces are in the Radikl® Series?
The line covers lightweight performance pants and shorts built on ENDURO™ for hot, high-output days, waxed-ripstop hybrid pants and shorts for wetter, windier conditions, and a heavyweight canvas pant for harder use and colder weather.
Who is the Radikl® Series designed for?
If you regularly high-step over deadfall, stem a chimney, or kneel on a roof, the knit-panel construction is doing real work. For light walking and travel, it is overbuilt.
What fabrics and construction details define the Radikl® Series?
Across all of it, you get the recurring Radikl construction: knit stretch panels at the hips and thighs, articulated knees, a gusseted crotch, and UPF 50+ sun protection. The lighter ENDURO™ pieces add moisture-wicking and quick-dry behavior to handle high-output days.
How does the Radikl® Series compare to KÜHL's other series?
Against the Rydr Series, a denim-leaning rugged line, Radikl trades casual styling for higher-mobility technical fit. Where the Burr Series focuses on cold-weather warmth, Radikl is built for working hot under load. And compared with the SPYFIRE® Series, which is centered on insulated outerwear, Radikl is a legwear-only collection: pants and shorts, nothing else.
What weather and conditions does the Radikl® Series handle best?
The lighter ENDURO™ pants and the matched shorts thrive in summer hiking, scrambling, climbing approaches, and any sweaty day where UPF 50+ and quick-dry fabric earn their keep. When the weather turns wetter or windier, the waxed-ripstop styles take over: wind and water resistance without losing the breathability of cotton. The heavyweight canvas variant extends the series into colder, harder-use conditions: shoulder-season hiking, casual workwear, and rough terrain where abrasion is the main risk.
