These are very tough, durable shorts. They could be used for work or any outdoor activity, . I doubt you could wear them out.

These are some heavy duty shorts, much heavier weight than the other Kuhl shorts I have. Might be a little warm in the heat of summer but I know the durability of these will be tge best of the line. If you needed 1 pair of backpacking shorts that could stand up to the challenge, these would be it!
