Take it with you anywhere. Fold it up and stick in your pocket, then have it handy for the rain. And no button on top in case you bump your head against something. Looks good too.

This hat is awesome. I can wear it in the water, I can stuff it in a bag, I can sweat in it. Easy to wash and easy to pack.

I wear this doinf construction, at lunch while skiing, backpacking, after biking, perfect fit, comfort, and protection, I often fold it in half and put it in my pocket snd forget it's there and it returns to perfect shape. I would LOVE to see a 3 season version for spring touring or cold morning climbs.
