Perfect midlayer
This versatile jacket has proven to be surprisingly useful. On a chilly day, this works well on its own as the outer layer. I take it camping in the summer to wear around the campfire in place of a traditional sweatshirt. But it's also great layered, due to the thin fabric and narrow cut of the arms. It is my go-to layer to wear under a rain jacket in wet conditions. And one of my favorite unexpected uses: I layer it under a lightweight puffy for winter hiking or snowshoeing. When my body warms up, I just throw the puffy in my daypack, and I still have a cozy outer layer that is wind resistant but still very breathable. The pockets are zippered, which is very handy, and the hood has a nice and roomy cut (which I appreciate -- not a fan of the scuba type of hoods that are designed to fit under a helmet). The jacket washes easily; I simply use cold water and air dry. Best of all, this jacket is so lightweight and packs down so small that I feel like I can take it everywhere with me.. and I do. My only complaint is that the sizing is a little bit off from other Kuhl clothing. I am 5'5" and around 125 pounds; I typically wear a size small with Kuhl but had to go up to a medium to have more mobility and range of movement in the shoulders. Also I wish they would bring back the teal color!

This is a great hoody. I wanted something that was water proof. I haven't worn this yet in the rain, but did wear it once. The fit is perfect and it is very comfortable. Runs true to size. I'm a 36DDD with 29" waist. 128lbs. I ordered the large, and there is still room that I can put my sweatshirt on underneath.

I bought this lightweight jacket for a trip to Alaska in early summer and I absolutely love it! It performed well, and looks so cute! I am 5'5 tall and weigh 127 lb and I bought a small and it fit perfectly . Oh and the customer service is top notch!
