These are my absolute favorite pants for outdoor activities. I wear size 6 and 8 in pants depending on the rise and stretch. I also need at least a 34” inseam so I ordered size 8 long in these and the waist was perfect with just enough room to be comfortable but I found the legs and butt to be quite fitting. I have built up my legs and glutes over the years and these pants seem better suited to a straighter body type. The length was perfect though. I reordered a 10 long because I really wanted these to work and I love them. The waist is definitely bigger, but there is a tightening option on the inside which is super, and with the extra space I can wear these a bit lower on the hips too. My waist is pretty high up. The legs were actually a little baggy which really surprised me for just 1 size up, but the butt fit well. Overall I am thrilled with the 10 long. I wear these pants outside in the summer for yard work and exercise and I love them. I’ve had them in different sizes over the years and wish I’d never got rid of them when they didn’t fit. I won’t do that again. I prefer a little room since I’m sweating in these. I’d say these are true to size but as it states on the website, if you want a little room order a size up. And if you have muscular thighs or glutes I would recommend sizing up. These are not high rise either so if you have a waist that is higher up you may want to consider the size of your hips vs the waist. Anyway, these are the best and most comfortable outdoor pants ever. Butter soft and breathable.

These pants fit amazing. I have tried so many different pairs of hiking pants but these ones are top tier. They have stretch like no other with the same durability. They are so comfortable and actually cover my butt which most women’s hiking pants fail to do. 10 out of 10! Can’t say enough good things about these pants!

MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PANTS FROM KUHL
I have three pairs of these in my closet along with several other Kuhl brand pants, but these by far are my favorite so comfortable and versatile. True to size and long lasting.

Great pants!
I love that these pants come in multiple lengths! The pocket placement is great for holding phone, glasses, etc while hiking. My one wish is that there was a higher waist option, as these hit just under my menopause belly, which isn’t ideal. However, I’d buy them again because everything else is super!

Second pair of good hiking pants
Obviously I like these since this is my second pair. They fit well in waist and hips, I especially like that it is cut higher in the back. They dry amazingly fast, have a good amount of stretch. This color is especially nice.

Flexible style and fabric. Like that the cargo pockets don't pooch when not in use. Nice that it comes in different inseam lengths. I definitely liked the light weight fast dry fabric of original design, but the upgrade is more hardy and fits comfortably.
