Fabric feels very nice against the skin while the outer layer is protective in the elements. The short length is perfect for being able to hook onto my shoe laces.

Best winter hiking pants I have. Warm, stretchy comfort, plenty of pockets, fit perfectly. On my last hike the bottom of the pants on the outside were wet from snow, the inside nice and dry.
